A company invests its own money in a risky marketplace to gather and market and present information and you think they don't deserve to be paid for it? Then go invest your money in getting the information you want, the same way they did. Sounds like you only need a small subset of it, go get to work, it shouldn't be so hard, right? Or is your time worth something and theirs isn't? Answered by Barry C - Mon Dec 22 18:28:38 2008 What's the difference between a public and private university?
Q. If money is tight and I'm depending on financial aid are public colleges my best option? I'm looking at schools for communications in a city or a suburbs in the new england and Mid-Atlantic regions. I think I want to do communications, Within that maybe advertising, public relations or mass. Money is going to be an issue. Is there any schools that you can think that gives good money to students. Thanks for the help. Asked by elz200 - Sun Jun 29 22:06:03 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Public: mostly funded by the state. Private: funded by private donors and whatnot. Financial aid is greatest in schools with large endowments (basically their budgets) and focus on undergrad education. Essentially, it all comes down to your family's income, so don't apply or reject colleges just based on the sticker price since who knows what special grants/scholarships you may be eligible for. Also, keep in mind that, for public colleges, usually when you remain in your own state you will get more funding then if you attend another public school out of state. Your tuition will also be higher than a regular in-state student's. Private schools generally have the same tuition for both in and out of state students.
